Editorial Calender

Each market we serve has an editorial staff member gathering local news, covering events and writing special features.  We publish hard industry news in all editions.  Product news is also great circulation print where space allows.  Issues devoted to specific topics are not our format.  Seasonal items are naturally emphasized and timely topics are given special attention.

 

Mailing Procedures

Each address in our data base is verified and updated monthly.  We receive a new Accumail Address Verification disc quarterly and every one of our addresses is compared to the legal address and to the Post Office.  Our labels are bar-coded with plus four zip codes insuring as rapid delivery possible by the Post Office.  Our circulation numbers do not include copies we send as bulk to branches, copies delivered by hand to customer locations, copies places on sales counters, given out at trade shows, receptions, conferences, etc.  We only count as circulation the copies actually mailed.  Postal receipts are readily available to advertisers upon request.

 

Mailing Lists

Our database is kept in strict confidence.  We do not sell, rent, or allow outside handling of our computer files.  The entire operation is handled in-house.  Our track record of honoring the confidentiality of our customer list has given us access to lists that would be denied by anyone else.  The resulting lists are the largest, most complete database of industry buyers ever assembled in the areas we serve.  At trade shows we solicit subscriptions and every paper has a fax form for free subscriptions.

 

Production

Let us help you plan and execute an effective campaign with Insider News.  Our graphics staff can create a professional ad far you from your ideas, spec sheets, brochures, or camera-ready advertisements.  We will then fax you a proof of your ad that will alow you to make changes or give your final approval.  This design service is done at no extra charge.   

Production centers are located at our National Headquarters at 5051 Highway 162 South, Covington, Georgia, 30016-5923 and the Golden Eagles Publications offices in Ashland City, Tennessee.

 

What will be accepted by our production staff for ads received by Disk or E-mail 1.    We accept both PC and MAC Files. 2.    We prefer Adobe Acrobat . PDF files with an 85 line screen at a 45 degree angle. 3.    All image files (PC/MAC) & fonts (PC/MAC) must accompany ad. 4.    All disk/zipdisk/CD's/E-mail's must have a hard copy proof with it. 5.    All image/pictures files must be 170dpi or higher. 6.    The only PC/MAC program files we can read are the following             -    Quark X-press 4.1             -    PageMaker 7             -    Coral Draw10             -    PhotoShop 7             -    Acrobat 5             -    Freehand 10             -    Microsoft Publisher 2000             -    Illustrator 8.0             -    Microsoft Excell             -    Microsoft Word             -    Microsoft Publisher             -    Microsoft Power Point             -    Adobe In-Design   We can not accept files in any other format than what is listed above.  Sending files in any other format will delay processing of your ad.  If you have any questions on ad design please contact the production staff at 770-786-9658.   System Wide Advertising A great benefit to our advertisers is the ability to micro-market their product and services to a group of industry professionals in a targeted area.
